Partners : Doctors

It is our deepest desire to locate the best doctors in the world for every specialty, so that we can pass along this valuable relationship to patients in other parts of the world who are waiting for something or someone to save their lives. We also connect doctors with each other, so that they can pass along their knowledge and expertise between each other and maximize their potential as physicians.

Our relationship with a variety of government agencies and leading healthcare providers or locations help us to pass along a wealth of knowledge from all over the world. This includes helping physicians learn of new study opportunities, from continuing education to innovative techniques or medications.

Physician travel

Many physicians travel for learning experiences, especially when new things are discovered in the field of medicine. Regardless of where they live, there is always another place developing medicines, procedures, tools, resources, or technologies that are unique, and learning about as many as possible is the best way to stay up-to-date as a doctor. The countries that they travel to often offer a type of limited license that allows them to be a part of healthcare in that country, even giving them access to specialty fields that they may not normally participate in so that they can learn.

The biggest barrier that doctors face in learning the most advanced technologies to bring them to their own home countries deals with language. Doctors already lead unimaginably hectic lives, and this leaves no time for learning new languages in order to travel to innovative medical locations. However, most doctors are willing to find ways to communicate with other doctors teaching something they need or want to learn, such as hiring an interpreter or using advanced Internet programs to interpret discussions.

Our role

As mentioned before, we work hard to bring doctors together in order to maximize the potential of every doctor in the world. Doctors have to find each other in order to learn, so our goal is to play a big role in each meeting. We help doctors get the right permissions to travel to new countries, including hospital and travel authorization, writing letters of introduction for new participating doctors, with the addition of introducing the purpose of the visit, and offering the necessary insurance coverage for being a part of patients’ treatment in other countries.

We need a few specific things in order to get started, including but not limited to the following:

  • A notarized copy of your license to practice medicine and professional diploma.
  • A letter of good standing from your local medical authority, or copy of your Employment booklet (for Russian/CIS physicians).
  • A copy of your passport.
  • Three forms of photo identification (such as driver’s license, hospital ID card, etc...)
  • A small administrative fee for project participation.
